Mesotherapy for Facial RejuvenationHave you noticed that French women don’t get fat, and, they don’t seem to age, either? Their secret, perhaps? Facial mesotherapy, the lunchtime treatment in which complexion-brightening vitamins are injected four to six millimeters below the epidermis to improve skin’s texture and tone. While the practice of injecting actives into the skin has existed for more than 50 years, these vitamin cocktails are packed with legitimate antiaging ingredients to nourish the skin and promote cellular turnover and collagen. “When you deposit vitamins directly into the skin with a needle, you’re giving the tissues exactly what they need, where they need it,” says Dr. Fernando who trained in London and Paris. Mesotherapy, a medical procedure developed in France by Dr. Michel Pistor was given formal recognition by the French Academy of Medicine in 1987. Before Mesotherapy
"The Mesolift or Mesoglow is not an alternative to a surgical facelift but it can do amazing things to rejuvenate dry, tired and sun-damaged skin. Those factors that contribute to an "old, haggard" face deep with wrinkles are exactly what mesotherapy is effective against." The Mesolift is a series of micro-injections that can revitalize the skin, remove fatty deposits from the neck area and tighten loose skin in the face and neck area. What Is In The Micro-Injections facial mesotherapy?
Vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, anti-oxidants which promote cellular hydration which in turn begins the rejuvenation process of rebuilding collagen. Facial mesotherapy is NOT collagen injections, but the necessary ingredients our body's need to produce our own collagen which is a spontaneous process!
How many treatments, how often?
Although each client is evaluated individually, we like to begin the facial mesotherapy process with a minimum of two treatments scheduled three to four weeks apart and then re-evaluate how many treatments are needed. An optimum would be six treatments to maximize collagen production and hydration. The number of treatments needed is based on the individual case and the combined goals of the patient and physician. Maintenance treatments are usually scheduled every 6-12 months.
Is Facial Mesotherapy Safe?
All medical procedures carry risks but in the hands of a trained, qualified health care professional it is very safe procedure. |
